A $2.6 billion wish list

Mayor Nutter was in Chicago today to discuss his and other cities' needs with Valerie Jarrett, co-chair of the Obama transition team who is headed for a position as senior adviser in the White House. Obama stopped in for the last 15 minutes of the two-hour meeting. Philadelphia and other cities who are part of the U.S. Conference of Mayors have submitted their wish list for Obama's much-anticipated Main Street stimulus package. Nutter's requests include some of the cuts he has had to make in this year's budget, such as improvements at the Dell East amphitheature. Check out the list here.
