Uber offering free rides in M'yunk on big drinking night

Uber is setting up a Breathalyzer kiosk in Manayunk Wednesday night — one of the booziest nights in the year — and will offer free rides home worth up to $20 to anyone who wants one, the company says.

The company says the UberSMART kiosk will be set up in a highly trafficked area of the neighborhood, known for its bars and restaurants.

Party makers can blow into the Breathalyzer to see their blood alcohol level and Uber in turn will provide a ride home, regardless of blood alcohol level, the company says.

In Pennsylvania, by the way, you're drunk in the eyes of the law with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent.
