Photos: 11th annual Brewer's Plate at the Kimmel Center

Fair Food Philly brought Brewer’s Plate event to the Kimmel Center Sunday evening for its 11th anniversary, along with enough craft brews and eats to satiate even Philly’s most discerning foodies. And it was all for a good cause.

Fair Food Philly brought its Brewer's Plate event to the Kimmel Center Sunday evening for its 11th anniversary, along with enough craft brews and eats to satiate even Philly's most discerning foodies. And it was all for a good cause.

More than 50 breweries, restaurants and tastemakers showed up at the Kimmel yesterday to feed Brewer's Plate's hungry (and very, very thirsty) patrons, with food pairings from Varga Bar, Alla Spina, Di Bruno Brothers, White Dog Cafe, and more. Amada, however, had the pairing of the night with its poached figs in Serrano ham alongside a glass of Yards' Brawler.

Libations came via a host of breweries, many of which are within 100 miles of Philadelphia. Which, of course, means that guests enjoyed brews from local favorites like Dogfish Head, Troegs Brewery Company, Vault Brewing, and Weyerbacher Brewing. Downingtown's Victory Brewing, for its part, debuted Bon Vivant, a saison brew designed with Michigan's Brewery Vivant.

Proceeds from Brewer's Plate go toward benefiting Fair Food Philly's programs and goal of creating a "vibrant, healthy, and inclusive food system" in the Philadelphia area.
