On April 24, 2015, the annual Philly Tech Week Signature Event, a cocktail reception, took place in the lobby of the Comcast Center, located at 1701 John F Kennedy Blvd. Hundreds of people filled the space to check out local tech participants including Art by Algorithm, Biomeme (DNA Testing), EvoLabs, Hive76, Photobot 3000, Cipher Prime, Video games! and ExCITe, with its full digital simulation of a giant Hubo robot.
This year's menu featured street food from Di Bruno Bros. serving hot nuts, freshly popped popcorn, mini pretzels with artisan dipping sauce, gourmet hot dogs, mini meatball brioche sandwiches, vegan, gluten free pasta, and an ice cream bar. There was also a selection of wine, soda and beer courtesy of Evil Genius Beer Company.
The cocktail party concludes the 5th annual Philly Tech Week 2015, which was presented by Comcast and included over 150 events celebrating innovation and technology.
