Wine for cats? It’s a thing in Japan
Humans aren’t the only ones who can enjoy the indulgent pleasures of sipping on some wine. A pet lifestyle company called B&H Lifes is premiering their “wine exclusively for cats” called “Nyan Nyan Nouveau.”

Unlike the human version ,this kitty wine contains no alcohol, but it is made with Cabernet grapes, Vitamin C and catnip, which gives it the taste of wine (I guess this matters) and mimics that same relaxation feeling we get from guzzling down a glass.
So what's the market demand like for such a product? Apparently, the company developed the drink "for those wanting to celebrate birthdays or Christmas with their beloved cats." It costs 399 yen (US$4).
