Brayden Schenn talks about big hit

Brayden Schenn was back at practice today after taking a big hit along the boards from the Capitals' Tom Wilson.

Brayden Schenn was back at practice today after taking a big hit along the boards from the Capitals' Tom Wilson.

"It was a little tough to watch last night," Schenn said. "I don't think I've ever had a hit like that where the top of my helmet hits the boards like that. More than anything I just think I got lucky."

Schenn never underwent a concussion test, said he immediately felt fine in the locker room.

"That's up for the league to decide," Schenn said when asked if Wilson should be suspended.

"I don't think the hit was intentional or that he tried to hurt me."

The two also fought in the Flyers' 7-0 loss to the Capitals on Nov. 1.

Schenn said he isn't sure when he'll be able to play again. He had a little neck soreness today but otherwise felt fine.  He said he had no headaches and no concussion symptoms.
