Jayson Werth sentenced to 10 days in prison for reckless driving

For those of you making a point to stay on top of this offseason's MLB moves, this one may register.

Werth will lose his driver's license and be suspended 170 days.

The Fairfax County, VA trooper who'd pulled Werth's Porsche 911 over in July doing 105 m.p.h. in a 50 m.p.h. zone had initially had his gun drawn due to Werth's speed. When asked why he was driving so fast, Werth reportedly replied, "Pressing my luck."

Werth will likely serve five days of his ten day sentence, and he will be appealing the decision.
