Wednesday night, the Sixers did something they hadn't done in a long, long time ...

Oh yeah, they won a game for the first time this season, but this goes back even further ... The last time — and in fact the only other time in their history — they won a game despite having a regulation quarter in which they scored fewer than 10 points was Nov. 29, 1983.

The nine points they rang up in the second stanza Wednesday is tied for the ninth-lowest quarter for the team since it moved to Philadelphia prior to the 1963-64 season. The club's lowest scoring periods since then:
