Batista's return to WWE spoiled, prematurely advertised by ticket vendor site

Former WWE superstar Batista was prematurely advertised for a WWE live event in Las Vegas in February.

WWE is scheduled to appear at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of UNLV on Sunday, Feb. 16. The ticket vendor for the show, UNLVtickets.com, advertised a number of WWE superstars for the show, including CM Punk, The Shield and Big Show.

After advertising the current stars, the site said,  "Plus, see the special return of 'The Animal' Batista, LIVE!"

The site has since removed that sentence, but WrestleZone.com has a screenshot of the page with the mention of Batista.

According to PWInsider.com, Batista was expected back for quite some and was a possible surprise for the Royal Rumble.

Apparently, Batista has been talking to Triple H about a possible return since last spring. Batista reportedly does not want to return for just one big match, but wants to have one last run as a member of the roster.

The only thing standing in the way of that has been Batista's acting career, as he is supposed to play a major role in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
