This week, beer isn't the focus.

On Tuesday, get a sneak peek at what's in store for the return of Diner en Blanc. This Wednesday, take a break from Center City Sips at Cappelli Brothers during Center City Sits. And Friday, celebrate the start of the weekend on the Delaware River with Pinot Boutique.

Check out these 5 food events.

On Tuesday, June 9, the ever-so-secret, yet fancy Diner en Blanc returns for a preview party at the Headhouse Square Shambles (2nd Street between between Pine and Lombard). The preview will give guests an idea, and possibly a hint at, where the upcoming yearly dinner will take place. Expect music, drinks and of course, food. All white clothing is not required. The dinner is from 5 to 7 p.m.

For an alternative to Center City District Sips: Cappelli Brothers Cigar Co. (211 S. 13th St.) hosts Center City Sits every Wednesday. From 4 to 8 p.m., visitors will receive half pricing on hookah set-ups and corking fees, as well as free shoe shines. If you buy four cigars, you get one free.

On Friday, June 12, hop aboard the Patriot at Penn's Landing (211 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd.) as Pinot Boutique's popular Sunset Wine Cruise returns. Beginning at 7 p.m., guests will travel across the Delaware River  and enjoy selected wines paired with local Philly foods such as Tastykakes, peanut chews, and soft pretzels. Tickets are $50 per person.

The fifth annual Burger Brawl returns to Xfinity Live's! (1100 Pattison Ave.) parking lot on Sunday, June 14. From 3 to 6 p.m., entry gets you endless tastings of over 50 burgers from Philadelphia restaurants. Competitors firing up the grill for the afternoon are: Parc, Prime Stache, Blue Duck Sandwich Co., Bank & Bourbon, Village Whiskey, and more.

Philly's favorite food trucks line up on top of The JFK Bridge (JFK Boulevard between Schuylkill Avenue and 24th Street) for the 5th Annual Vendy Awards on Saturday, June 13. General admission to the event gets you tastes from over 15 participating vendors, endless beers from Sly Fox Brewing, live entertainment, and a vote for your favorite truck. The festival kicks off at 1 and goes until 6 p.m.
