Who’s off work and/or school this week?

Who's off work and/or school this week?

For an adventure: An active journey through a 2,000 square foot holiday cottage eventually leads families to Santa at the Cherry Hill Mall (2000 Rt. 38, Cherry Hill, N.J.) — one of only eight locations that houses Adventure To Santa. The 15-minute activity must be booked in advance prior to your visit. They're taking reservations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today.

For holiday cheer: Visit the Fonthill Museum (E. Court St. and Route 313, Doylestown, Pa.) between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and see the castle in its holiday best with decorated trees and Victorian ornaments.

For a tour: Before it was a museum, the Glencairn Museum (1001 Cathedral Rd., Bryn Athyn, Pa.) was a home. See how the Pitcairn family celebrated Christmas in the castle through a 45-minute tour that also takes visitors though Glencairn's art collection, various halls and the "World Nativities" exhibition. Tours depart 1:30 p.m. 2:30 p.m.

For a chill: Follow Gerda as she travels to save her friend from the frigid Snow Queen in the on-stage Enchantment Theatre Company adaptation of the Hans Christian Anderson tale "The Snow Queen," playing at University of the Arts' Philadelphia Arts Bank  (601 S. Broad St.) at 2 p.m.

For dinner: Let Isabella (382 E. Elm St., Conshohocken, Pa.) do the Hanukkah cooking tonight. They're serving a special five-course holiday menu comprised of hummus, potato latkes, salmon, brisket and dessert from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
