When you're working the corporate grind, day-in and day-out, things tend to get a bit dull. Motivation? Such an aggravation. Inspiration? Getting hard to fake it. So, for many, year-end bonuses and dreams of promotions and/or raises and/or title bumps can be the fantasies that keep you #RISENGRIND-ing throughout the year.

Or, if you work for this one company in China, maybe it's the possibility that your company might reward you with a night with a famous Japanese porn star that helps you roll out of bed in the morning.

An undisclosed company in Shanghai recently held a dinner for its employees. Management invited a famous Japanese porn star to attend and, during the event, announced that they'd rewarded their "Employee of the Year" with a night with the actress. Yup, that'll probably get people to focus on their spreadsheets.

It caused a stir among the employees when an announcement was made that the best employee of the year would spend a night with the actress.

When the news broke, some netizens slammed the company for such a reward and questioned the company's stand on morality.

Suddenly that "promotion" to assistant regional manager doesn't seem all that glamorous, huh? [Asia One, h/t Uproxx]
