Pop sensation Lady Gaga paid a fan a huge compliment when she visited Grandview United Methodist Church in Lancaster.

Pop sensation Lady Gaga paid a fan a huge compliment when she visited Grandview United Methodist Church in Lancaster.

Liz Fulmer, a 24-year-old Millersville University student, is part of the church's Celebration Team leadership and was preparing to play an original song called "He is Coming" when she learned Gaga was in the audience. Immediately her nerves began to get the best of her.

"I'm a huge fan," Fulmer told LancasterOnline. "So I calmed down, then went to my spot."

Gaga's boyfriend, Taylor Kinney, graduated from Lancaster Mennonite High School in 2000. The actor's aunt attends the church, where the couple was visiting to see a family baptism.

Prior to her performance, Fulmer solicited prayers on her Facebook page.

After Fulmer's performance, she went outside to catch her breath and take control of her nerves. Unfortunately, during her time outside, Fulmer missed the chance to hear praise in person from Gaga.

"Missed connection," Fulmer said. However she later received an uplifting text message from the star.

"Hi Liz, it's Gaga," read the text message. " You were sensational. Keep up the amazing work." Gaga also offered Fulmer advice on her music career.

Fulmer posted her original song to her SoundCloud. Listen below:
