VIDEO: Fox News' Megyn Kelly wants all the kids to know that Santa Claus DEFINITELY ISN'T BLACK

America is less and less white, but a melanin-deficient Santa remains the default in commercials, mall casting calls, and movies. Isn't it time that our image of Santa better serve all the children he delights each Christmas?
Yes, it is. And so I propose that America abandon Santa-as-fat-old-white-man and create a new symbol of Christmas cheer. From here on out, Santa Claus should be a penguin.
That's right: a penguin. [Slate]
When introducing the segment, Fox News personality Megyn Kelly facetiously addresses "all of the kids watching at home" (because we all know so many children who are watching Fox News' daytime programming), warning them that the talking heads were only having the conversation to debate the legitimacy of the Slate piece not to seriously consider the notion that Santa could possibly anything but an old white guy.
When I saw this headline I kinda laughed and I said, "Oh, this is so ridiculous." Yet another person is claiming that it's racist to have a white Santa. By the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white, but this person is just arguing that, maybe, we should also have a black Santa. But, Santa is what he is and, just so you know, we're just debating this because someone wrote about it, kids. Just wanted to get that straight.
