"Plus-size Barbie" is not a thing. Mattel hasn't made it. Nor have they announced intentions to. The overweight doll is actually just an entry from a 2011 Photoshop contest, hosted by Worth1000, that called for artists to make typically skinny celebrities appear to be carrying some extra pounds. Recently, though, Plus-Size-Modeling has used the image to ask the public whether or not companies should be producing dolls represent the overweight community.

The image has received more than 38,000 likes and has been shared some 2,000 times. There are nearly 4,000 comments. [h/t Uproxx]
