Comedy Central personality Stephen Colbert delivered a wonderful commencement speech to the graduates of the University of Virginia over the weekend.

He urges the grads to turn their cell phones on so that they don't miss a tweet while he's speaking, thanks the out-of-state kids for paying tuition, and proceeds to attribute a Macklemore lyric to Thomas Jefferson. It's worth a watch if you're looking to waste 17 minutes at the office.

"Tweeting your Vines, hashtagging your Spotifies, and snapchatting your YOLOs. Your generation needs everything to be about you and that's very upsetting to us Baby Boomers because self-absorption is kind of our thing."
