VIDEO: Will Smith raps 'Summertime' on Letterman

With four whole days still standing between us and Memorial Day weekend, the boys of summer dropping games to the Marlins, and SIPS just a dot on the horizon (still two more weeks), it's safe to say that we could all use a little summer time pick-me-up.

With four whole days still standing between us and Memorial Day weekend, the boys of summer dropping games to the Marlins, and SIPS just a dot on the horizon (still two more weeks), it's safe to say that we could all use a little summer time pick-me-up.

Luckily, Philly's own Will Smith was on The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday to plug his new movie, After Earth. Letterman's band played "Summertime" as Smith's entrance music and, whuddaya know, The Fresh Prince hustled over to grab a mic and break 'em off a verse from everyone's favorite warm weather anthem.

Also, Kanye West, recently performed two songs off his forthcoming Yeezus album on SNL, has been in the studio with Smith and is pushing the actor to return to the rap game. [h/t NY Mag]
