The column: City, Delco fight over PHL expansion plan

Is it David vs. Goliath or another cat vs. dog fight? The city and its Delaware County neighbor, Tinicum Township, where 2/3 of the airport is situated, are in a legal battle over plans to add another PHL runway to try to ease congestion on the ground that leads to chronic flight delays. The column today looks at both sides of a long-running dispute that may wind up being settled in court.
