DOT proposes host of passenger-rights rules

As expected from what was posted here yesterday, the Department of Transportation is showing aggressiveness on airline passenger-rights issues. DOT Secretary Ray LaHood today announced a host of new rules for airlines when they bump passengers off oversold flights, advertise fares, add fees, sell tickets, and pass out peanuts on a flight. Inquirer staffer Linda Loyd filed a story explaining it all and you can find it here.
