Eurostar trains through Channel Tunnel resume

The fast trains that link London with the European continent, and have taken big chunks of business from airlines in recent years, resumed service today after a chaotic weekend breakdown. Eurostar rail service officials said they determined that unusually dry and powdery snow got in its electric-locomotive engines, causing extra condensation that shut down the power.
