Penn National Gaming Inc. said it will be installing table games - including poker, blackjack, craps and roulette - at its Charles Town (W.Va.) Races & Slots following voter approval Saturday on a ballot question.

Wyomissing-based Penn National, whose 19 sites include Freehold Raceway in New Jersey, Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, near Harrisburg, and other gambling sites, said it expected to have its tables ready for play by the third quarter of 2010.

The company expected that the move would create 500 new jobs, 350 of them for dealers, to add to the current 1,200 employees at Charles Town.    - Roslyn Rudolph
