Contract OK’d for new PGW chief
The Philadelphia Gas Commission voted unanimously today to approve a three-year contract between Philadelphia Gas Works and its new chief executive officer, Craig White.
The Philadelphia Gas Commission voted unanimously today to approve a three-year contract between Philadelphia Gas Works and its new chief executive officer, Craig White.
White, 54, a veteran PGW employee who is currently chief operating officer, will take over the helm of the city-owned utility on March 1. Thomas E. Knudsen, 68, who has been chief executive since 2001, will retire at the end of February. -Andrew Maykuth
