Herley wins add-on $7.5M contract

Herley Industries Inc., Lancaster, said today that it was awarded a $7.5 million contract to make microwave assemblies for a U.S. Navy electronic attack aircraft.

The work will be done for a military prime contractor, which was not identified. Herley said last week that it won a $1 million contract for the same aircraft program.

Herley, which has annual sales of about $188 million, manufactures microwave-technology equipment for the defense, aerospace and medical industries.    - Paul Schweizer
