Herley gets $1M Japanese defense contract

Herley Industries Inc., a Lancaster defense contractor, said it received an order from the Japanese ministry of defense for more than $1 million worth of high-performance antennas.

The work will be performed at Herley's factory in Lancaster, Herley said. The company has seven factories altogether.

Company shares lost 5 cents this morning in Nasdaq trading, to $17.65.    - Harold Brubaker
