, third in line to the throne of England, will go to Iraq with his regiment, the Blues and Royals, for a six-month deployment.

Gen. Sir Richard Dannatt, commander of the British army, announced the decision yesterday.

Word of Harry's assignment came in the wake of published reports that the military might keep the 22-year-old prince, a tank commander and second lieutenant, at home. Iraqi insurgents had threatened to kill or kidnap the prince, and his presence could spark more attacks on British troops, according to newspaper reports.

"The decision has been taken by myself that he will deploy in due course," Dannatt said. "I would urge that the somewhat frenzied media activity surrounding this particular story should cease in the interests of the overall security of all our people deployed in Iraq."

Prince Harry is the younger son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. Harry would be the first royal to serve in a war zone since his uncle, Prince Andrew, piloted a helicopter in the 1982 Falklands war.

It's all about moving on, she tells the AOL music Web site Spinner.com.

"I still wear his pajamas to bed," she says. "How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt's pajamas?"

And having all of Kurt's stuff still cramming her house makes the place look "like a mausoleum," says the wild widow.

"My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant Hefty bag full of flannel [expletive] shirts," says Love, who formerly fronted the rock band Hole. "A sweater, a guitar, and the lyrics to '(Smells Like) Teen Spirit' - that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just [expletive] sell."

So, Love, 42, says she'll hold an auction. No date has been set, an AOL rep tells the Associated Press.

Love and Cobain married and had a daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, in 1992. Cobain committed suicide in '94.

Love, who has an album in the works, Nobody's Daughter, says friends support the idea. "Everyone's been positive and behind me on it," she says. "We'll make a lot of money and give a bunch of it to charity."

The commuter who saved a teen from being crushed under the wheels of a New York subway now faces a new threat: a lawsuit.

Wesley Autrey is being sued by his former lawyer, Diane L. Kleiman, who accuses him of breach of contract.

Autrey launched his own suit against Kleiman last month, claiming she maneuvered him into signing an unfair management contract.

Kleiman wants compensation for legal fees and "damages to her reputation."

"They're making me look like a shyster. I'm not a shyster," Kleiman told the New York Post. "I'm not money hungry."

Autrey, speaking through his sister, declined to comment, the Post said.

Autrey, 50, rescued 19-year-old Cameron Hollopeter in January after Hollopeter suffered a seizure and fell onto the tracks as a train was approaching.

Autrey leaped off the platform, pulled Hollopeter into the 12-inch-deep drainage trough between the rails, and lay on top of him as the train passed safely over them, just clipping his hat.

"It was wonderful to have shared our big day with our family, Roma, myself, our children and our parents," Burnett, 46, told People magazine. "It was so meaningful and so intimate."

While no winged choirs hailed the union, there were joyful words on high. Downey, 47, hired a small plane that towed a banner proclaiming: " . . . and they lived happily ever after."

Burnett's sons from a previous marriage, James, 13, and Cameron, 10, were best man and ring bearer. Downey's daughter from a previous marriage, Reilly, 10, was a bridesmaid.
