Life is getting to be such a hassle for the Hoff.

A California judge has ruled that former Baywatch hunk David Hasselhoff, 54, must stay away from his two teenage daughters pending a May 21 hearing on visitation rights, celeb Web site TMZ.com reports. The judge was reacting to a video the Hasselhoff progeny made three months ago of their progenitor drunk on a hotel suite floor. Phone contact is still OK under the ruling.

The judge also ordered Hasselhoff, ex-wife Pamela Bach and the offspring - Taylor-Ann, 16, and Hayley, 14 - to meet with a psychologist before the court hearing. The psychologist can change the judge's order if the situation warrants, according to TMZ. By now, all of America must have seen the tape, a painful piece of domestic cinema verité that shows a shirtless and profoundly drunk Hasselhoff on the ground. The daughters apparently taped their faltering father in an effort to get Hasselhoff, a relapsing alcoholic, back on the wagon.

Sauer sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in the L.A. county bastille on Friday after she was caught twice driving with a license that had been suspended because of a DUI incident.

TMZ ID'd the church as St. Brendan's, but at least two churches in the City of Angels bear the name of the illustrious Irish saint. TMZ did not say which one it was.

, was arrested early Saturday morning by cops in L.A. who suspected he was driving under the influence of something that would make it hazardous to operate machinery - including a motor vehicle.

Pennington was arrested at 12:35 a.m. and released on $5,000 bail two hours later, according to TMZ.

A rep for Extra, the celebrity news TV show, reports that Pennington sent a mea culpa: "I made an error in judgment. We all make mistakes, however this is about accountability. Under no circumstances should anyone consume alcohol while driving. I could have jeopardized the lives of others and I am grateful there was no accident or harm done to anyone. This was my wake-up call. I also want to apologize to my fans, ABC Television, and my design team for my lapse in judgment and the embarrassment I have caused."

won't disappear forever into the mist until 2010, Variety reports.

Show-runners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse had wanted to wrap things up in two more years, but the network wanted three.

The duo will produce 48 more episodes, 16 per season, with no repeats, according to Variety.

Extra interviewer Carlos Diaz corralled Larry Birkhead, now recognized as the father of Anna Nicole Smith's progeny Dannielynn.

Birkhead, who took his daughter out of the Bahamas last week, said: "We're still doing the learning thing and getting to know each other a little more."

He said he's changing diapers, feeding his child - all the usual dad stuff.

"The hours are really weird, but it's fun," he said.

Julianne Hough, partner of short-track speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno on Dancing With the Stars, also did a Derby dish with Extra, revealing that she is no longer affianced.

Hough says that while she and her former fiance are no longer engaged, they are "still boyfriend and girlfriend." And no, no, the guy wasn't jealous of Ohno.

"They're really good friends," Hough says. Adds Ohno, "Yeah, we're actually good friends."

says his mother is no longer managing his career, the Associated Press reports.

But he stresses that he and his mom, Jonnetta Patton, still have a happy mother-son relationship.

"She and I are on great terms and support each other in our life's endeavors. We are both very happy but are now working in different areas of the business," he tells the AP. "This is great for me because it means I now get to have my mother strictly as my mother, with no added pressure."

Usher, 28, denied rumors that he planned to replace Patton with longtime gf Tameka Foster, to whom he announced his engagement in March.

A follow-up to Usher's 2004's album Confessions, which sold nine million copies in the U.S., is due out later this year.
