LaKisha is Bee Gone
It was an American Idol shocker last night. Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell actually switched seats! The judges have maintained the exact same seating order for six seasons.

Oh, and at the end of another bloated hour-long results show, one more singer was sent packing. Seriously, how long does it take to say, "We lose LaKisha tonight, ladies and gentlemen."
LaKisha Jones, a 27-year-old single mother from Flint, Mich., unquestionably had the strongest voice in the Fox singing contest. Earlier in the season, after a stunning rendition of "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going," she seemed unassailable, despite her appearance, which was not Beyonce-style glamorous. After that highlight, she had impressive moments but seemed to lose confidence by the week.
She was undone by Bee Gees night. Cowell described her Tuesday night performance of "Stayin' Alive" as "verging on scary." Her exit leaves Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle as the final three.
Before the results were announced last night, LaKisha admitted she was coaching herself onstage, "Remember the words and don't cry." She couldn't manage either as she tearfully reprised her swan song.
