Dr. Therman Evans

Dr. Therman Evans, Friday's closing session speaker, is the founder and CEO of Whole Life Associates Inc., and is the pastor of Morning Star Community Christian Center in Linden, N.J. He is the former vice president and corporate medical director of CIGNA Corp., one of the largest health-care companies in America.

Evans received his bachelor and medical degrees from Howard University and also earned a doctorate in theology from the United Christian College in New York City. He was a member of the clinical faculty of Howard University, served on the Commission on Continued Vitality of Cheyney University, was a visiting Regent's Scholar/Lecturer at the University of California at San Diego. He is also a Fellow of the Philadelphia College of Physicians. *
