Here's news some people are going to go nuts for: CBS' "Jericho" finally has a return date.

It's Feb. 12, which puts the raised-from-the-dead drama, which filmed seven episodes earlier this season, in the 10 p.m. Tuesday slot currently filled by "Cane."

Besides "Jericho," a strike-strapped CBS officially announced the "first-ever winter version of 'Big Brother,' " scheduled to premiere at 9 p.m. Feb. 12. It will air Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays.

Other CBS shifts . . .

Drew Carey's "Power of 10" returns Jan. 2, while "The New Adventures of Old Christine" will return Jan. 28, airing at 9:30 p.m. Mondays.

Raquel Welch is also riding to CBS' rescue Jan. 28 in "The Captain," a comedy about residents of a Hollywood apartment building called El Capitan. Her co-stars include Jeffrey Tambor, Fran Kranz and Chris Klein. It will air at 8:30 p.m. Mondays.

'Law & Order's' back, too

Meanwhile at NBC, "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" will return to the Wednesday lineup next month.

"L&O" will premiere Jan. 2 with a two-hour episode. On Jan. 9, "L&O: CI," whose original episodes this season were moved off to cable, will begin airing at 9 p.m. Wednesdays, before the original "Law & Order." *
