Movie: 'Broken Blossoms'

9:15 tonight TCM The luminous Lillian Gish (right) gives one of the silent era's great performances in this 1919 drama as the battered daughter of a drunken London boxer who finds refuge with an Asian shopkeeper. The titles contain some politically incorrect terminology but the film is a poignant statement against racism.
