A day at museum for its director

The Philadelphia Museum of Art will honor its late CEO with an official "day of appreciation" June 19. On that day, in memory of Anne d'Harnoncourt, the museum will be open free from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and City Council is expected to issue a resolution honoring the museum's longtime director, who died June 1. An audio tour narrated by d'Harnoncourt will also be available free of charge. A tribute featuring the Philadelphia Boys Choir will take place at 6 p.m.
