The movies arrived in theaters Friday just as storms pounded the Northeast.

In limited release,

The Wrestler

- featuring a barely recognizable

Mickey Rourke

- had a heavyweight debut, taking in $209,474 in just four theaters for a whopping average of $52,369. The film stars Rourke as a former wrestling champion struggling for a taste of past glory. The comeback theme of

The Wrestler

parallels the real life of Rourke, whose bad-boy behavior virtually ruined his career in the late '80s and early '90s.

Don't try this at home

Comparison shop no more. Samsung Mobile phones can be used to text message while freefalling 12,000 feet. (Did you say you were worried about your teenager

driving

and texting?)

In an attempt to establish the Guinness World Record for fastest text messaging while skydiving, Samsung Telecommunications America hired a team of 10 professional skydivers to accurately text message these two sentences - "The razor-toothed piranhas of the genera Serrasalmus and Pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality they seldom attack a human." - before pulling their parachutes and gliding to the ground. OMG! No abbreviations allowed!

Once all skydivers were on the ground and their phones were checked for accuracy, the video shot by two aerial videographers and two additional videographers on the ground was sent to Guinness World Records in London for official judging.

Singer's death could alter jail policy

The death of R&B singer

Sean Levert

has led to a proposed policy that would provide more flexibility in giving inmates their anti-anxiety medication.

The member of the 1980s R&B trio LeVert died in March after becoming ill at the Cuyahoga County jail in Cleveland. A lawsuit filed by his widow,

Angela Love

, says he was not given the Xanax he brought with him when he started serving time for failure to pay child support.

The jail administrator and a jail doctor proposed the change to allow inmates to get their prescribed medication as soon as their prescriptions are verified.

She's the same but different

Bridget Marquardt

may have lived in the Playboy Mansion with

Kendra Wilkinson

, but she hardly recognizes her former housemate anymore.

"She's doing amazing, she's so in love," Marquardt said of Wilkinson, 23, who recently became engaged to Eagles wide receiver

Hank Baskett

. "She's changed so much. She's not even the same person. I mean, she is the same, but she's different."

One big difference? "She doesn't flash anymore," said Marquardt, who will be a bridesmaid at Wilkinson's wedding at the Playboy Mansion.
