Tattle: Jon Gosselin's wasting no time

INCREASINGLY LESS sympathetic Jon Gosselin is on the new covers of both Us and In Touch weeklies but while Us has Jon and his 22-year-old "bimbo" only involved, In Touch has them engaged.

An anonymous insider close to the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" Jon tells In Touch he has proposed to his new girlfriend, Hailey Glassman!

Jon, could you maybe wait until

you're divorced? You have eight kids? Do you need two wives?

"Jon has been telling everyone that he loves her and she loves him, so why waste time?" says the insider.

Uh, because you officially separated a month ago!

The insider added that Jon presented Hailey with a $180,000 engagement ring designed by Edouard Nahum during a romantic getaway to St. Tropez last Sunday.

Jon, you have eight kids and no visible means of support. Dial back on the bling, dude.

"They started dating two months ago and they both just knew the other was the one instantly," said the anonymous source, speaking in the tabloidy Cupidy tongue of so many previous anonymous sources.

While Jon's kids - did we mention he had EIGHT - were not with dad on the Riviera, Jon and Hailey met with Ed Hardy clothing designer Christian Audigier, who must be planning a new deadbeat-dad line.

Jon and Hailey Plus Zero stayed in a $2,000-a-night room at the Chateau de la Messardiere, drank champagne, ate lobster, sailed on Audigier's yacht and shopped in Antibes.

Not having to fret about a babysitter, at night they went to St. Tropez's V.I.P. Room nightclub.

"Hailey was flashing her ring around and they were kissing and hugging," said another anonymous source.

"I think she's with him to use his money. No doubt in my mind," said an unnamed college "friend" of Hailey.

"Hailey is fame-hungry," the college "friend" says. "She auditioned for 'The Real World.' I'm not surprised she's with someone in the public eye."

Aw, thanks for the shout-out.

* So how might an exurban

Pennsylvania father of eight meet a 22-year-old NYC party girl?

Us Weekly says Hailey is the daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate's free post-sextuplets tummy tuck in 2006.

Ick.

White House goes country

In a White House concert that would have been right in George W. Bush's wheelhouse, country stars Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss ("Whiskey Lullaby") will play for the Obamas next week. A spokeswoman for Paisley said yesterday that he and Krauss will participate in the White House Music Series hosted by Michelle Obama. On Tuesday afternoon, they'll help with a workshop for 120 middle- and high-school students. That night, they'll play in the East Room for the first couple, White House staff and members of Congress. Michelle launched the series to encourage arts and arts education. It featured jazz last month and will continue in the fall with classical music.

She may also be trying to book Sen. Tom Coburn for Cuban-music night, hoping he will perform "Babalu."

And gave them the willies.
