Dickens Christmas Party. The Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion hosts its annual Dickens Christmas Party today, featuring a taste of Victorian hospitality. Actors dressed as Charles Dickens and Louisa May Alcott will read from the works of those authors.

A Sunny Day in Glasgow

, a Philly band despite its name, has made two albums, 2007's lush Scribble Music Comic Journal and the recently released Ashes Grammar. With members coming and going, the band has been in flux, both on the road and in the studio, but has managed to keep going.
