* Cookbook author and TV personality Rachael Ray has a new iPhone application, "Tasty Bytes," that combines recipes and cooking tips with a shopping tool to get you down the aisles and out of the supermarket faster. The app costs $1.99. Ray isn't the only foodie celeb with an appetite for the digital life. She joins a food phone force that includes Martha Stewart, Tyler Florence and Jamie Oliver.

* Continuing today's theme - technology is a foodie's best friend - the American Diabetes Association has revised its online nutrition tool in English and Spanish to help you track daily meals, browse recipes and substitute healthier alternatives in recipes or on the plate: MyFoodAdvisorTM (www.diabetes.org/MyFoodAdvisor). People with diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and those looking to lose weight can use the site to find nutrition information and more.
* Get a last-chance taste of summer through September at Oyster House (1516 Sansom St., 215-567-7683), which serves a Shore Feast featuring oysters and clams on the half shell; a bucket of steamers and a 1 1/2-pound steamed lobster with corn on the cob and house-made coleslaw. It's available for dinner Monday through Saturday for $46.
* Fish (1708 Lombard St., 215-545-9600) chef/owner Mike Stollenwerk cooked dinner at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City yesterday, but you haven't missed a thing. He'll do the whole menu again Tuesday at his restaurant. There's a single seating (hors d'oeuvres start at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7), and the $110-a-person price includes wines. Fish is located in the former home of legendary Philly eatery Astral Plane.
