No sparks flew in what Rosenthal described as a random encounter outside the 10 Rittenhouse high-rise on 18th Street near Walnut, where he was showing a condo.

Rosenthal is dating Kristen Dalton, a former Miss USA.

His latest leisure-time pursuit is drumming up votes for a social-media contest run by Pop Chips to appoint a "vice president" to work with the snack-food company's "president of pop culture," Ashton Kutcher. Rosenthal, who promises to donate $3,000 of the $50,000 prize to charity, created a promo video that was shot on Rittenhouse Square, in Reading Terminal Market, and outside the Comcast Center. It's at www.philly.com/popchips.
