Busy day forecast for 6ABC talent

Adam Joseph will spend his turkey day running around the parade route.

LAST YEAR, 6ABC weatherman Adam Joseph overextended himself a bit.

After running around all morning as master of the Fan Cam at the 93rd annual 6ABC Dunkin' Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade, he went home and cooked a full dinner for his entire family. At least he didn't have to do the dishes. Joseph made it clear to me that he despises dishes.

This year, Joseph is keeping it low-key post-parade, opting instead to dine at someone else's house, although he'll have his signature dessert, a play on an old recipe that he's deemed Adam's Apple Delight (check out the recipe if you're in need of a last-minute turkey day treat).

Before he gets to kick back with a plate full of stuffing ("Stuffing," he said, definitively. "It's not called dressing. It's got to be the stuffing that's marinating in the bird the entire time."), Joseph will pull his ninth shift at the parade and his third as the host of the Fan Cam, where he dishes with parade spectators in between spots from Rick Williams, Cecily Tynan and Karen Rogers, while driving in a golf cart, complete with sponsored snacks.

"I don't know what gets more attention, the camera or the doughnuts and coffee," said Joseph, who added he digs the Fan Cam because it allows him to ham it up with other personable people. The best way to get his attention is to tweet him (@6abcadamjoseph) with your location and a description of what you're wearing.

This year will be a little different for Joseph, as he'll be on air all the time, both online and through the mobile app. Cameras will keep rolling online to 6abc.com even if Joseph isn't on the small screen in your living room.

"It's fun chaos for basically hours," Joseph said.

The parade starts about 8:30 a.m. and ends at noon.

Utleys outta town

I hear that Jen and Chase Utley are making a suburban move after selling their gorgeous Washington Square apartment in the Ayer building (that's the one with the gilded gold doors). Where to? I hear Gladwyne, where they can have a yard.

'Anchorman' aweigh

Think you can rock a mustache better than the "Anchorman" himself, Ron Burgundy, played by Will Ferrell in the film written and directed by local guy Adam McKay? Head to the Cherry Hill Mall (2000 Route 38, Cherry Hill) on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to win a chance to report from the "Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues" red carpet in NYC. Go to IAmRonBurgundy.com for more info.

Book beat

* The Daily News' own V for Veg columnist Vance Lehmkul is illustrator of What's the Matter with Pluto?, written by University of the Sciences physics professor Dr. Paul Halpern, who remembered Lehmkul from his comic "How To Harry" that ran in Philadelphia City Paper from 1990 to 2003.

* Voorhees' own Allison Gutknecht, a Penn alum, released her first children's book, Don't Wear Polka-Dot Underwear with White Pants: (And Other Lessons I've Learned), earlier this month. Gutknecht got the idea for the book from her own experience at Eastern High School.

"My friend Steve and I were drum majors. Our uniforms were all white. Very flattering. Our parents would come to every game and every week, one of us would get wedgies and our mothers would guffaw," said Gutknecht, who now works at Sesame Workshop. "Years later, Steve was musical directing another high school band, so I had firsthand experience of their antics. His mother said, 'Do you remember wearing polka dot underwear under your uniform?' So I sent myself an email saying, 'This is your next book.' "
