Caroling hayrides, wassailing at Linvilla

Pass on good wishes to family and friends and enjoy wassailing at Linvilla Orchards' Caroling Hayrides early Saturday evening.

Wassailing dates to the 1400s; sing Christmas carols around a campfire, with marshmallows and apple cider. Visitors can also see the Christmasland display and see the orchard's animals dressed in their winter coats.

Friday Night Lights at Morris Arboretum

The Holiday Garden Rail lights up during Friday Night Lights at Morris Arboretum.

The rail, on display through Jan. 5, will be lit Friday and Dec. 27 from 4 to 7:30. The quarter-mile track features seven loops and tunnels, cable cars, 15 distinct rail lines, and bridges, including a trestle bridge over decorated miniature buildings. Kids are encouraged to bring flashlights so they can lead the way through the garden at nightfall.
