Director Scott Dow's feature debut is a microbudget satire that tries to do to the zombie flick what Scary Movie did to the slasher. The story, pretty much lifted from the first season of The Walking Dead, is about a sheriff (Dave Sheridan) who wakes up from a coma to find the world has been felled by a zombie apocalypse.

He reunites with his son Chris (Mason Dakota Galyon), a filthy-mouthed 12-year-old. They go in search of survivors, eventually joining up with a group of misfits, creeps, potheads, and nymphomaniacs.

Parent's guide: not rated (violence, gore, pervasive profanity, nudity, drugs).
