"Game of Thrones" showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have confirmed that this season of the HBO series, premiering April 12, will catch up with George R.R. Martin's books. Martin, who is famously slow in churning out the series, has yet to slate the release date for the sixth book, "The Winds of Winter."
