U.S. Olympic distance runner Suzy Favor Hamilton worked as a high-end escort in Vegas

Suzy Favor Hamilton—a 44-year-old former Olympian who ran middle distance races for the United States in the 1992, 1996, and 2000 Games—has reportedly been working as a high-end escort for the last year. She's been on dates in multiple cities across the country, including Vegas.

A reporter for The Smoking Gun confronted Favor Hamilton, who admitted to having a side-gig as an escort, in addition to running a real estate brokerage with her husband in Wisconsin and delivering motivational speeches at events across the country.

"I take full responsibility for my mistakes. I'm not the victim and I'm not going that route," Favor Hamilton said. "I'm owning up to what I did. I would not blame anybody except myself." She added, "Everybody in this world makes mistakes. I made a huge mistake. Huge."

She has since responded to the story on Twitter.
