Photos: Rittenhouse’s Ball on the Square 2014

Thursday evening, the very well dressed and philanthropic residents and supporters of Rittenhouse Square celebrated their annual ball. This year was the especially exciting as the organization reach its goal of 1 million dollars to restore, rejuvenate and maintain the popular park. Chairs of the gala were Janice Birenbaum and Nina Stanley. A delicious dinner by Starr Catering was served in a room beautifully decorated by Evantine Design. Across the street from the main party, the Young Friends of Rittenhouse gathered in the ballroom of the Rittenhouse Hotel for a cocktail party. The lower-priced ticket went to raise funds to restore the park's rose garden. Later in the nimageight, folks headed across the street to the square for dessert and dancing to the tunes of the Eddie Bruce Orchestra. After parties were held at Rouge and D'Angelos, located nearby.
