Woman allegedly tried to buy iPads with food stamps

A Louisville woman was arrested after allegedly attempting to purchase multiple iPads with her Electronic Benefit Transfer card. Authorities say 38-year-old Tracy Browning went to the Valley Station Walmart in Kentucky and tried to use food stamps to buy two iPads. When the transaction failed, Browning allegedly assaulted a store employee and fled with the iPads. Where did she turn up? Glad you asked—at another Walmart allegedly giving the ol' EBT card another shot. She was apprehended at the second Walmart while allegedly attempting to flee the store with the merchandise.
