Tattle: Porn-star La Cicciolina says child support's been a bit soft for a while

LONA STALLER

, a former member of Italy's parliament and before that a European porn star (as La Cicciolina), is suing her ex-husband, artist

Jeffrey Koons

, for being a deadbeat dad.

In papers filed in Manhattan, Staller says that Koons owes about $2.4 million for support of their 15-year-old son, Ludwig Maximilian Koons, having not made payments from October 1998 through December 2007.

Can't use "the check is in the mail" as an excuse for that delay.

(By the way, if you're in school and your name is Ludwig Maximillian, does the fact that your mom used to be a porn star keep you from getting stuffed in a locker?)

The Hungarian-born Staller met Koons when he hired her to pose for sexually explicit photos, paintings and sculptures - always a good first date. They married in Budapest in June 1991.

The pair divorced in New York in 1994 and Koons was given custody of baby Ludwig. A judge ordered that Ludwig stay in New York, but in June 1994 Staller got past Koons' security guards (we may have seen that Cicciolina movie), took Ludwig and fled to Italy, where she's a citizen, and where the divorce and custody issues were litigated again.

A second version of the divorce was granted and after an appeal, she received custody of Ludwig (who is not related to the Ludwig Bat Mitzvah that Tattle will be attending this weekend).

Koons, whose work has been seen in museums worldwide, ran up legal bills of almost $4 million trying to get the boy back.

So, maybe deadbeat dad is the wrong term.

* In what we hope will be more peaceful divorce news, Kimora Lee Simmons, who's dating Djimon Honsou, has finally gotten around to filing for divorce from her husband of seven years, media mogul Russell Simmons. Their differences appear to be irreconcilable.

They separated two years ago.

The couple has two daughters: 8-year-old Ming Lee and 5-year-old Aoki Lee. Kimora is seeking legal and physical custody of the children. She requested that Russell be granted "reasonable child visitation . . . accompanied at all times by the children's nanny and security personnel."

'L.A. Times' takes the rap

After a relatively brief investigation, the Los Angeles Times apologized for using apparently fabricated documents in a story implying that a 1994 assault on Tupac Shakur had been carried out by associates of Sean "Diddy" Combs, and that he knew about it ahead of time.

"The bottom line is that the documents we relied on should not have been used," Editor Russ Stanton said in a story posted Wednesday night on the paper's Web site. "We apologize both to our readers and to those referenced in the documents . . . and in the story."

Top of the world, Ma? Uh, no

Grammy-nominated rapper Remy Ma (aka Remy Smith) was led out of a Manhattan courtroom yesterday, in handcuffs (good for the street cred) and weeping (bad for the street cred), after being convicted of shooting Makeda Barnes Joseph outside a nightclub last summer.

The defense had conceded that Remy fired a shot toward Makeda, a friend she suspected of stealing $3,000, but said it had been an accident.

She faces up to 25 years in prison following her conviction for assault, weapon possession and attempted coercion.

Remy quietly wiped away tears as the verdict was read, then wailed loudly and sobbed openly outside the courtroom. Many of her supporters also cried.

A few supporters of Makeda cheered and wept, and some chanted "bye, bye" in an almost taunting singsong.

* In Atlanta, rapper T.I. (aka Clifford Harris) pleaded guilty yesterday to federal weapons-possession charges, and will receive prison time after he does a lot of community service.

In the year he is awaiting sentencing (likely to be about 12 months in prison), T.I. must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking with youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs and drugs.

He spoke to the media briefly after the hearing.

"I'd like to thank God for blessing me with a second chance in life and success," he said. "I'm looking forward to turning this negative time in my life into a positive. I know I have a long road of redemption to travel."

* OK! magazine reports that Paula Abdul has a hidden camera set up in her bedroom.

Don't, however, get your hopes (or fears) up about a Paula Abdul sex tape (although "Paula Abdul: Straight Up" would be a good title).

A source close to Paula (is that you, Simon?) says that the camera is there because Paula does choreography in her sleep.

"She tapes all her middle-of-the-night moves and goes back to bed," said the source. "In the morning, she can't remember a thing, so she watches the tape to see what positions she's mastered."

Sure sounds like a porn tape. And if it's not, why is the camera hidden?

* If anyone still cares about the long-awaited Guns N' Roses release, "Chinese Democracy," Dr. Pepper is basically daring Axl Rose to finish it.

Billboard.com reports that Dr. Pepper says it will give a free can of Dr. Pepper to "everyone in America" (excluding ex-GNR members Slash and Buckethead) if "Chinese Democracy" arrives anytime during 2008.

Ah, we can see it now: Next year on "Oprah's Big Give," the contestants have 24 hours to give away 300 million cans of soda . . . *
