Sideshow: ‘Housewives’ Teresa Giudice heads home for the holidays

She'll be home for Christmas

Dec. 23 is the day Teresa Giudice (Real Housewives of New Jersey) gets out of the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn., done with her 15-month sentence for fraud. Bravo won't film the release. She, hubby Joe, and their four daughters will be together for the holiday. But in March, Joe goes in for his own scheduled 41-month stint - at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, the same one now holding Apollo Nida of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Adele, AC/DC to hit Philly!

Philly and environs, still jazzed that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will plow through Wells Fargo on Feb. 12, now stagger at word of two more big-

time tours.

On Monday, Adele, yes, Adele, announced a 56-date U.S. tour (her first here in five years), including two stops at the Wells Fargo Center on Sept. 9 and 10. Hello from the other side! Tickets ($39.50-$149.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at www.ComcastTIX.com or 800-298-4200.

Not to be outdone, rock vets AC/DC also announced they're coming, also to Wells Fargo, also their first in five years, at 8 p.m. on April 1, and that's no fooling. Tickets ($75-$139.50) go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, also at www.ComcastTIX.com or 800-298-4200.

Can Philly stand so much pop bliss in one year? Can the Wells Fargo Center? Can we?

This sporting life

On Sunday, folks gathered at Scott Park in Easton, Pa., for the dedication of a statue dedicated to boxer Larry Holmes, a loyal Eastoner and variously heavyweight champ from 1978 to 1985. He was on hand to thank everyone. Longtime boxing promoter Don King was also there.

You were what you eat

This just in: Kim Kardashian plans to eat her placenta. It will be her second: She also dined on afterbirth after birthing North, her first child by hubby Kanye West. Now that she's had her second bairn, Saint, she's had her placenta "freeze-dried and made into a pill form." But will it be accompanied by some fava beans and a nice chianti? Kimye say Saint, a difficult birth, will be their final child.
