More than twenty A-list celebrities have decided to take matters into their own hands today with a new YouTube video demanding a plan to reign in gun crime. While the NRA has begun taking shots at Hollywood for promoting violent acts, celebrities such as Beyonce, Jon Hamm, Jamie Foxx, Kate Hudson and more decided to address America directly.

The video, Demand a Plan, addresses America's need to come together as human beings to stop gun violence. The black and white YouTube video lists scenes from some of the worst shootings in US history, including Colorado's Columbine High School, the cinema shooting in Aurora and of course, Newtown.  Other celebrities in the video include Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Michelle Williams, Julianne Moore, Chris Rock, Reese Witherspoon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Will Ferrell and Steve Carell.

The Demand a Plan campaign is run by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, which is co-chaired by New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Bloomberg has also vowed to use his wealth and star power to change gun laws.
