Elf

(8-10 p.m., CBS3) - Will Ferrell stars as a foundling raised by elves at the North Pole who ventures to New York City to find his biological father. It's an enjoyably goofy Yuletide tale, with James Caan as the Scrooge-like father figure and Zooey Deschanel as a jaded New Yorker who falls for the towering innocent.

Crusoe

(8-9 p.m., NBC10) - Somebody check to make sure the nuts haven't gone bad, because an ecstatic Crusoe (Philip Winchester) is reunited with his beloved Susannah (Anna Walton). Somehow she has appeared on the island.
