Sideshow: Rough week for TV hosts
TV folks are flying like falls! Nancy Snyderman, NBC medical correspondent, said Thursday she's leaving. She made too much news in October, after she went to the Peasant Grill in Hopewell, N.J., and thus busted a voluntary Ebola-virus quarantine.

Bad news for these newscasters
TV folks are flying like falls! Nancy Snyderman, NBC medical correspondent, said Thursday she's leaving. She made too much news in October, after she went to the Peasant Grill in Hopewell, N.J., and thus busted a voluntary Ebola-virus quarantine. As if NBC needed more tsuris. And Emmy-winning Univision guy Rodner Figueroa is also gone, three days after he said on El Gordo y La Flaca that first spouse Michelle Obama "looks like she's from the cast of Planet of the Apes." Adiós.
Smallish, downsized entertainment buzzettes!
Kudos to James Patterson! The scribe said Monday that, in a program with publisher Scholastic, he'll donate $1.25 million to school libraries. . . . Lily James is working a contempo riff in Disney's Cinderella, merging the trad and the feminist. Meantime, controversy! Was James' waist CGI'd to be so crazy-slender tiny? James says she's "a healthy girl." OK! . . . Rihanna has signed to work in Dior's "Secret Garden" campaign. Good move! . . . Haven't seen President Obama reading mean tweets about himself on Thursday's Jimmy Kimmel Live yet? Well, see it!
