Scottish eyes will be smiling April 2, as Bruce Williams, owner of Williams Brothers Brewery, in Alloa, Scotland, drops by Devil's Den (1148 S. 11th St., 215-339-0855, devilsdenphilly.com) to discuss the family biz. Among the brews he'll bring along are a hand-pumped firkin of Grozet, brewed with gooseberries, plus bottles of Fraoch Heather Ale, whose recipe dates back to 2000 B.C. Scottish food will supplement the menu for the evening, which begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday for the Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade, an outdoor wine festival featuring 150 wines presented at seven destinations along the Boardwalk, May 4-5. $75. doatlanticcity.com, 800-736-1420.

* There's a thread of Jewish tradition in Italian cuisine that dates back centuries. Le Castagne (1920 Chestnut St., 215-751-9913, lecastagne.com) celebrates the connection with a Passover-inspired menu being served Friday through April 5. The four-course, $35 feast includes choices like Matzoh Gnocchi with bresola and peas, and roasted chicken with matzo-porcini stuffing and creamed ramps.

* More Passover food can be found Monday and Tuesday in Manayunk when chef/owner Tom Konidaris serves a four-course, $35 seder dinner at Zesty's (4382 Main St., 215-483-6226, zestys.com). Find traditional Passover faves like brisket, gefilte fish, matzo ball soup and macaroons. The full menu also is available.

* Traditional seder foods get a chef Mitch Prensky tweak at Supper (926 South St., 215-592-8180, supperphilly.com) Monday and Tuesday. The $58, family-style feast ($29 kids 12 and under) will include Prensky's mother's "world famous" beef brisket with sweet potato, carrot and apple tzimmes. There's also house-baked matzo, gelfite fish and potato latkes. Friday is the deadline to order takeout seder food through Prensky's Global Dish catering.

* The Passover seder is a tradition at London Grill (2301 Fairmount Ave., 215-978-4545, londongrill.com), where a four-course, $40 meal will be served Monday and Tuesday, with selections staying on the menu - along with special Passover cocktails - through April 1.

* Easter's coming up, too, and it'll be an especially historic holiday for local gourmets this year, as Le Bec Fin (1523 Walnut St., 215-567-1000, lebecfin.com) offers its first Easter Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 31. $60, includes a bread basket for two. There will be a Bloody Mary bar as well.
