The truck: No matter what you think of Lost in the Woods, this truck is . . . different. And we're not even talking about the game meat entrees they're selling. The truck looks like a testosterone-fueled hunter's nightmare, with a scowling upright bull wearing body armor, clenching what appears to be an Uzi. There's also a deer wearing a white tank top with his fists (yep) clenched, like he's about to ruin your day - either with the rifle slung over his shoulder or the ninja blades attached to his arm. This is the only food truck in Philly that we'd describe as post-apocalyptic. So, naturally, we were interested.

Menu: Vegetarians, steer clear. Vegans, stay home and hug your children. This is not the place for you. The menu changes regularly, but the burger options include the Bambi burger ($8), a venison Denver steak with house cheese, red lettuce, strawberry Greek cucumber relish and red pepper ketchup on a Brioche bun; the Ves'tern Burger ($8), a venison filet with deep fried jalapenos, Texas BBQ aioli and Cactus salsa; and the BAB, a/k/a Big Azz Burger ($13), a 6 oz. burger, boar hickory maple ham, thick-cut boar bacon, cheddar-cheese wedge, black and tan caramelized onions and red-leaf lettuce on a Kaiser roll.

Tacos: Of course there are tacos. This is a Philly food truck. Try the #Dur Tacos ($7), with venison marinated in garlic oil, Cajun coleslaw and balsamic apricot reduction; or the Buff al Taco ($7), which is the same ingredients except with buffalo marinated in garlic oil.

Others: They also have shrimp, a BLT with brown-sugar boar bacon and a four-cheese mac 'n' cheese dish with boar bacon. We're told they also have "Wabbit Wontons" but they weren't on the menu when we stopped by.

Where: We found them on Market Street between 33rd and 34th, but find them on Facebook at "Lost in the Woods LLC," or call for the current location. Their phone number is 267-603-5243.
